Title 20 › Chapter 70— STRENGTHENING AND IMPROVEMENT OF ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS › Subchapter VIII— GENERAL PROVISIONS › Part C— Coordination of Programs; Consolidated State and Local Plans and Applications › § 7845
Local school districts that get money from more than one covered program may send one single, combined plan or application to the State education agency instead of separate ones. The State agency must share those combined plans with the Governor. If the State has an approved combined State plan under section 7842, the State agency can require districts that get money from multiple included programs to use a single combined local plan, but it cannot force them to file separate plans. The State agency will work with the Governor and the districts to set up how to submit these combined plans. The State agency will only ask for the information that is absolutely needed to review a plan. Eligible local educational agency — a local school district that qualifies under part B of subchapter V.
