Title 21 › Chapter 7— PRACTICE OF PHARMACY AND SALE OF POISONS IN CONSULAR DISTRICTS IN CHINA › § 211
Pharmacies owned or run by people or companies loyal to the United States must keep the original prescription or a copy for at least three years unless sections 207 or 208 require keeping the original. On request the pharmacy must give a copy to the doctor or the patient. Prescriptions and sales registers required by sections 207 or 208 must be open to authorized U.S. consular officers in U.S. consular districts in China. In those districts they must label each drug container with the drug name and directions.
