The Secretary must pay education help, under rules from section 3973(c), to a beneficiary of a U.S. national Foreign Service employee who dies abroad from an act of terrorism (22 U.S.C. 2656f(d)). Heads of executive agencies must do the same for their covered employees. The help covers school programs and related costs. Payments follow the amounts in 38 U.S.C. 3532 (as adjusted by 38 U.S.C. 3564) and are limited to 48 months. "Program of education" and "educational institution" mean what 38 U.S.C. 3501 says.
