Title 22 › Chapter 68A— COOPERATIVE THREAT REDUCTION WITH STATES OF FORMER SOVIET UNION › § 5954
Money allowed under section 301(21) can be used for cooperative threat reduction with states of the former Soviet Union. From that money, up to $15,000,000 may fund the programs in 5952(b)(6); up to $20,000,000 may fund the programs in 5952(b)(7); and up to $40,000,000 may be given as grants to the Demilitarization Enterprise Fund and to pay related admin costs. If Congress’ appropriation laws permit it, the authority to transfer Department of Defense funds under the Department of Defense Appropriations Act, 1993 (Public Law 102–396) and Public Law 102–229 remains in effect for fiscal year 1994.
