Summary

The United States Trade Representative must, within 1 year after August 8, 2005, find trade barriers in other countries that block U.S. exports of technologies and practices that reduce greenhouse gas emissions to the developing countries listed in an earlier report. The USTR must try to negotiate with those countries to remove the barriers, consistent with existing trade agreements. Within 1 year after making that list and every year after, the USTR must send Congress a report on any progress in removing the barriers.
