§7904 Trade-related Barriers to Export of Greenhouse Gas Intensity Reducing Technologies

Summary

Within 1 year after August 8, 2005, the United States Trade Representative must find trade barriers kept by other countries that block U.S. exports of technologies and practices that reduce greenhouse‑gas intensity to the developing countries named in the earlier required report, and, where allowed by existing bilateral, regional, and mutual trade agreements, negotiate to remove them. Within 1 year after that initial report and every year after, the Trade Representative must send Congress a report describing any progress on removing those barriers.
