Within 30 to 60 days after the State Department sends its report, the Treasury must tell the relevant congressional committees which foreign banks knowingly did a significant transaction with any person named in that State report on or after the date they were named. The Treasury can bar or limit those banks' U.S. correspondent or payable-through accounts.
