Title 25 › Chapter 45— PROTECTION OF INDIANS AND CONSERVATION OF RESOURCES › § 5129
Defines who counts as an "Indian": members of tribes recognized by the federal government; descendants who lived on a reservation on June 1, 1934; people with at least one-half Indian blood; and Eskimos and other Alaska aboriginal peoples. "Tribe" means an Indian tribe, band, pueblo, or the Indians of one reservation. "Adult Indians" are people 21 or older.
