Summary

Deletes mentions of Alaska and Hawaii from several federal laws. It removes those place names from a clause in the Act of June 6, 1933, from two spots in the Fair Labor Standards Act (one of which names the District Court for the Territory of Alaska), and from a clause in the Welfare and Pension Plans Disclosure Act.

(a)section 3(b) of the Act of June 6, 1933 (48 Stat. 114), as amended, is further amended by striking out the words ‘Hawaii, Alaska,’.
“(b)section 13(f) of the Fair Labor Standards Act, as amended, is further amended by striking out the words ‘Alaska; Hawaii;’.
“(c)section 17 of the Fair Labor Standards Act, as amended, is further amended by striking out the words ‘the District Court for the Territory of Alaska,’.
“(d)section 3(a)(9) of the Welfare and Pension Plans Disclosure Act is amended by striking out the word ‘Hawaii,’.
