Title 26 › Subtitle Subtitle E— Alcohol, Tobacco, and Certain Other Excise Taxes › Chapter 51— DISTILLED SPIRITS, WINES, AND BEER › Subchapter H— Miscellaneous Plants and Warehouses › Part I— VINEGAR PLANTS › § 5502
Before you can start making vinegar by the vaporizing process, you must apply to the Secretary to register your plant and get permission to operate. The application is not approved until you meet all legal and regulatory requirements for the business. The application must give enough detail to identify you, describe the location and size of the premises, and explain what operations will happen there. If the business changes later, regulations may let you file a written notice of the change or may require a new application.
