§2502 Outreach to Employers and Labor Unions

Summary

Using funds available to the Department of Labor in fiscal year 1994 and later, the Secretary of Labor must run an outreach program to tell employers about technical help under section 2503(a) that helps prepare workplaces to hire women for apprenticeships and other nontraditional jobs. The outreach must use private industry councils to reach employers and building-trade councils, joint apprenticeship councils, and individual unions to reach labor, and it must prioritize areas with programs that train women for nontraditional work.
