Title 29 › Chapter 27— WOMEN IN APPRENTICESHIP AND NONTRADITIONAL OCCUPATIONS › § 2504

Summary

Community-based organizations that want a grant to give technical help to employers and labor unions must apply to the Secretary. The application must be filed when, how, and with the information the Secretary asks for. When choosing winners, the Secretary must give priority to groups that meet four things: they have experience preparing women for apprenticeable or other nontraditional jobs; they have worked with businesses to place women into those jobs; they include tradeswomen or women in nontraditional jobs as active staff or board members; and they have experience providing technical assistance.
