Title 29 › Chapter 4B— FEDERAL EMPLOYMENT SERVICE › § 49c–1
To help state employment services set up under the 1933 Act, the Secretary of Labor may give a state the property the U.S. Employment Service uses in that state’s administrative and local offices. The transfer is made without payment. The items given can include records, files, and office equipment. Items used by the Veterans’ Service and the Farm Placement Service are not included. The transfer happens as soon as the state establishes and keeps public employment offices under the 1933 Act and its rules.
