Title 30 › Chapter 29— OIL AND GAS ROYALTY MANAGEMENT › Subchapter II— STATES AND INDIAN TRIBES › § 1731a
Starting with fiscal year 1990 and every year after, a set of specific leasing rules will apply to any lease (or part of a lease) that is covered by the law that gives coastal States money from that lease. For applying those specific rules only, and for no other purpose, that lease will be treated as if it is inside the coastal State or States that are entitled to receive the revenue.
