§1445 Authorization of Appropriations

Summary

Money may be provided to carry out this part of the law for the first fiscal year after October 23, 1972, and for the two fiscal years after that. No single fiscal year may get more than $6,000,000. Specific ceilings are set for other times: no more than $1,500,000 for the transition period (July 1–September 30, 1976); $5,600,000 for fiscal year 1977; $6,500,000 for fiscal year 1978; $11,396,000 for fiscal year 1981; $12,000,000 for fiscal year 1982; $10,635,000 for fiscal year 1986; $11,114,000 for fiscal year 1987; $13,500,000 for fiscal year 1989; and $14,500,000 for fiscal year 1990.

There are authorized to be appropriated for the first fiscal year after October 23, 1972, and for the next two fiscal years thereafter such sums as may be necessary to carry out this subchapter, but the sums appropriated for any such fiscal year may not exceed $6,000,000.
