NOAA’s Administrator must run education and outreach to widely share discoveries from the program in section 3402 of this title. Outreach can include teaching the public, teachers, students, and ocean and coastal managers, plus workforce training and reskilling to grow ocean-related STEM programs at high schools, community colleges, and universities (including the 1067q(a) schools). NOAA must create an outreach strategy within 180 days after the National Ocean Exploration Act was enacted.
