States that receive a grant under section 10156 must send a yearly report to the Director for any year they spend grant money. The report must say what was done with Part A and Part B funds, judge the impact, give evaluation results, explain how the federal money was coordinated with state agencies working on drug abuse education, prevention, treatment, and research, and include any other information the Director asks for. Within 180 days after the end of each fiscal year when grants are made under this subchapter, the Director must send a report to the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President pro tempore of the Senate. That report must list, for each State, total Part A and B grant amounts for the year; amounts for each Part A purpose; summaries of the State reports on Parts A and B; how federal funds were coordinated with other federal drug-abuse funds; and evaluation results and how States carried out their strategies.
