§151707 Provision and Acceptance of Support by Librarian of Congress

Summary

The Librarian may give staff, space, and administrative help to the corporation and may reimburse expenses under section 151703(f) at U.S. per diem rates. The corporation must repay those costs, and the Librarian must deposit the repayments into the Treasury under the appropriation that paid for them. The Librarian may accept the corporation’s directors, officers, and employees as unpaid volunteers to perform functions authorized under this chapter, without regard to chapters 33 and 51 and subchapter III of chapter 53 of title 5 and related regulations.
