Title 37 › Chapter 7— ALLOWANCES OTHER THAN TRAVEL AND TRANSPORTATION ALLOWANCES › § 420
Service members in military-sponsored sports may not get higher allowance rates than for other military duties. If the sponsoring agency pays travel, members cannot get travel or transportation allowances. If the sponsor provides meals and lodging and the member has no dependents, the member cannot receive basic subsistence or housing allowances.
