Title 37 › Chapter 7— ALLOWANCES OTHER THAN TRAVEL AND TRANSPORTATION ALLOWANCES › § 433a
Members of the Individual Ready Reserve can get a small cash stipend when they take part in the required screening if the screening is done electronically. The military Secretaries set the rules for this. The stipend replaces any muster-duty pay and is the only money the member may receive for that screening, no matter their rank. A member may not get more than $50 in one calendar year. The payment must be cash, not goods or services. It must be paid on or after the screening date and no later than 30 days after the screening.
