The Secretary may provide hospital care that is part of physical exams when those exams are needed to carry out other laws the Secretary runs. Subsection (b) was repealed on Jan. 23, 2002. The Secretary may also make contracts with organizations named in, or approved under, section 5902 to supply emergency medical services at any national convention of those organizations.
