Title 38 › Part II— GENERAL BENEFITS › Chapter 18— BENEFITS FOR CHILDREN OF VIETNAM VETERANS AND CERTAIN OTHER VETERANS › Subchapter II— CHILDREN OF WOMEN VIETNAM VETERANS BORN WITH CERTAIN BIRTH DEFECTS › § 1813
The Secretary must give eligible children the health care they need for covered birth defects and for any disability tied to those birth defects. Care can be given directly by the Secretary or arranged by contract with a health care provider. The definitions in section 1803(c) apply, except the clinic term in 1803(c)(2) means a specialized clinic for the birth defect here, and the vocational training mention in 1803(c)(8) refers to training under section 1814 rather than section 1804.
