§6309 Biennial Report to Congress

Summary
The Secretary must send Congress by December 1 of every even-numbered year (starting in 2008) a report that describes how the Department carried out the current two-year outreach plan in the prior fiscal year and gives recommendations to improve outreach and its administration.

(a)Report Required.—
The Secretary shall, not later than December 1 of every even-numbered year (beginning in 2008), submit to Congress a report on the outreach activities carried out by the Department.
(b)Content.—
Each report under this section shall include the following:
(1)A description of the implementation during the preceding fiscal year of the current biennial plan under section 6302 of this title.
(2)Recommendations for the improvement or more effective administration of the outreach activities of the Department.
