§3405 Markings

Summary
Mail sent under sections 3403 or 3404 for blind or other handicapped people must show a special marking in the upper-right corner of the address area. The marking must say the item is free mail for blind or handicapped people, or use whatever equivalent wording the Postal Service requires.

Title 39, §3405

All matter relating to blind or other handicapped persons mailed under section 3403 or 3404 of this title, shall bear the words “Free Matter for the Blind or Handicapped”, or words to that effect specified by the Postal Service, in the upper right-hand corner of the address area.
