Title 42 › Chapter 128— HYDROGEN RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT, AND DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM › § 12406
The Secretary must run the programs under this chapter. They must use help from NASA and the Department of Transportation and can use other federal agencies if those agencies can help. To get help, the Secretary can send a written request to any executive branch department or agency, with or without paying them back, but only if that agency agrees. Each request must say what help is needed. The Secretary must also talk with the heads of NASA and the EPA, the Secretary of Transportation, and the Hydrogen Technical Advisory Panel when doing this work.
