Title 42 › Chapter 134— ENERGY POLICY › Subchapter I— ALTERNATIVE FUELS—GENERAL › § 13213
Federal agencies must, when possible, get fuel for alternative-fuel vehicles bought under section 13212 from public commercial stations that sell those fuels. If public stations are not convenient or reachable, agencies may make commercial arrangements—like buying, leasing, contracting, or building fueling sites—in which the Federal Government takes part. The Secretary may be given whatever money is needed to carry out these rules for fiscal years 1993 through 1998, and that money stays available until spent.
