Title 42 › Chapter 7— SOCIAL SECURITY › Subchapter XX— BLOCK GRANTS AND PROGRAMS FOR SOCIAL SERVICES AND ELDER JUSTICE › § 1397c
Before spending federal payments, a State must send the Secretary a report that explains planned uses, the types of activities to be supported, and who will be served. The State must post the report in-state so anyone, including federal or other public agencies, can comment during development and after completion, and must update it if plans change during the year.
