Title 42 › Chapter 24— DISPOSAL OF ATOMIC ENERGY COMMUNITIES › Subchapter I— GENERAL PROVISIONS › § 2310
The Commission can take back property it sold if the sale contract allows it. It can also sell or otherwise dispose of property it repossesses or buys under section 2366. Even if other federal rules would limit handling real estate, the Commission can finish, run, rent, repair, update, insure, or sell those properties for cash or credit. The Commission can collect or settle any claims tied to these actions. Costs allowed here are treated as nonadministrative expenses. Section 6101 of title 41 does not apply to contracts made under this authority if the contract amount is $1,000 or less.
