Each year, the Director of NIH must send the Secretary of Health and Human Services a report about NIH work done with other HHS agencies. Each year the Director must also give the Commissioner of Food and Drugs a list of every clinical trial registered that calendar year in the databank under section 282(i). Each year the Director must send Congress a report explaining how NIH and its agencies store and track human tissue samples. The first of these reports had to be sent no later than 1 year after January 15, 2007.
