Summary

The Institute's Director must include in the biennial report a short description of work under two plans: the current diabetes plan under the National Diabetes Mellitus Research and Education Act, and the current digestive diseases plan created by the 1976 Arthritis, Diabetes, and Digestive Diseases Amendments.

The Director of the Institute shall prepare for inclusion in the biennial report made under section 284b 11 See References in Text note below. of this title a description of the Institute’s activities—
(1)under the current diabetes plan under the National Diabetes Mellitus Research and Education Act; and
(2)under the current digestive diseases plan formulated under the Arthritis, Diabetes, and Digestive Diseases Amendments of 1976.
