Title 42 › CHAPTER 6A — PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE › SUBCHAPTER XXXI — WORLD TRADE CENTER HEALTH PROGRAM › Part B — Program of Monitoring, Initial Health Evaluations, and Treatment › subpart 2 — wtc survivors › § 300mm–33
Follow-up monitoring and treatment rules that already apply to certified-eligible WTC survivors must also be used for certain other people. These people are not enrolled WTC responders and are not certified-eligible survivors, but they are diagnosed at a Clinical Center of Excellence with a WTC-related health condition like those of certified-eligible survivors. The WTC Program Administrator must limit how much is paid each fiscal year so the total does not go over set caps. The cap is $5,000,000 for the last calendar quarter of fiscal year 2011, $20,000,000 for fiscal year 2012, and for each later fiscal year the cap is the previous year’s cap increased by the annual percent change in the medical care component of the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers.
