Title 43 › Chapter 33— ALASKA NATIVE CLAIMS SETTLEMENT › § 1603
Earlier federal grants or tentative approvals of public land or water in Alaska are treated as ending any Native land rights. All Native claims to land, to submerged lands under inland and offshore waters, and to hunting or fishing rights in Alaska are ended. Any claims against the United States, the State, or others based on those rights, on U.S. statutes or treaties, on laws of other nations, or now pending in any court or the Indian Claims Commission are also ended.
