§331 Reclamation Requirements Waived in Favor of Disabled Soldiers, Etc.

Summary

People who had applied for or started a claim on public land under the desert‑land rules, or who had a priority right to enter such land, and who after that but before November 11, 1918 joined or actually served in the United States Army, Navy, or Marine Corps in the war with Germany, and who were honorably discharged and now cannot finish the required reclamation work or payments because of service‑caused disability, may, under rules the Secretary of the Interior sets, prove their case and get legal title to the land without doing more reclamation or payments if they qualify. No title will be issued until the land is surveyed.
