Title 43 › Chapter 21— GRANTS IN AID OF RAILROADS AND WAGON ROADS › § 904
Lands given before September 29, 1890 to a State or company to help build a railroad that lay alongside a part of that railroad which was not finished and in operation on that date are taken back by the United States and become public land. Lands that were granted before that date as a railroad right-of-way or for station grounds are not taken back.
