Presidential archival depository is a U.S.-run place that stores and protects a President's or former President's papers, books, and related historical items and may include research or museum facilities under this chapter. Historical materials are items like books, letters, documents, art, maps, films, photos, and sound recordings with historical or commemorative value. Archivist is the Archivist of the United States appointed under section 2103 of this title. Administration is the National Archives and Records Administration established under section 2102 of this title.
