Defines key words used in this subtitle. Congressional leadership means the Speaker and the House majority and minority leaders, and the Senate majority and minority leaders. A "congressionally mandated report" is a federal agency report that law requires to be sent to either House of Congress or to any committee or subcommittee. It does not include reports required under part B of subtitle II of title 36, reports by an inspector general, or reports sent only to certain House or Senate intelligence, armed services, appropriations, or foreign relations committees. "Director" means the Director of the Government Publishing Office. "Federal agency" uses the meaning in section 102 of title 40 but excludes the Government Accountability Office and elements of the intelligence community. "Intelligence community" uses the definition in section 3 of the National Security Act of 1947 (50 U.S.C. 3003). "Reports online portal" means the online portal set up under section 7243(a).
