Title 45 › Chapter 18— MILWAUKEE RAILROAD RESTRUCTURING › § 920
The Milwaukee Railroad must keep its whole rail system the same as it was on October 15, 1979. It must keep at least the same regular level of service it had then and must not block traffic (except for acts of God or safety reasons) or abandon any part of the system. These duties stay in effect until one of four things happens: an employee or employee-shipper ownership plan is not filed with the Interstate Commerce Commission within the time allowed under section 905(a); the Commission finds the plan not feasible or does not act within 30 days; the bankruptcy court finds the plan not fair and equitable to the Milwaukee Railroad’s estate; or the plan is not implemented within the time allowed under section 905(c).
