Title 48 › Chapter 8— GUANO ISLANDS › § 1415
Guano from the islands may be taken only for use by U.S. citizens or residents. The discoverer or their heirs/assigns must post a bond with the penalty and guarantors the President requires to deliver guano only to U.S. citizens at the price set and to provide facilities by the bond deadline. Breaching the bond forfeits all rights.
