Defines when a medical emergency ends for someone getting donated leave. The emergency ends when the employee gives the agency written notice that it is over; or the agency, after giving written notice and a chance to respond (or someone answering for them, if needed), decides it is over; or the employee is separated from service. The agency must follow Office of Personnel Management rules to make sure no more donated leave is used or received after the emergency ends.
