Each federal agency head must send a yearly report to the Security Executive Agent saying how many people waited more than 2 weeks for their security clearance to be recognized after moving within the agency. The report must show the type of clearance and the reasons for any delays. At least once each year, the Security Executive Agent must send and make public a summary of those reports to the appropriate congressional committees and to industry partners.
