The rules in sections 6306 (title 41) and 431–432 (title 18) do not apply to loans or payments under this chapter, except for section 1383(a).

The provisions of section 6306 of title 41 and section 431 and 432 of title 18 shall not be applicable to loans or payments made under this chapter (except under section 1383(a) of this title).
