Agricultural goods sent to a least developed country can be used there to feed people directly. That includes feeding programs that also address special health needs of children and mothers, as described in the Child Survival Fund, or to create emergency food reserves. Those goods can also be sold in the country by its government or by the Administrator (or someone they appoint) if the agreement allows. Money from the sale must be spent under the rules of this subchapter.
