§2009aa–8 Approval of Development Plans and Projects

Summary

The Authority must review and approve any State, regional, or multistate subregional development plan proposed under this subchapter. Applications for grants or other help must be submitted through the State member of the Authority who represents the applicant, and that State member will evaluate them. The State member must certify that the application shows how it follows any State development plan, meets the criteria in section 2009aa–7, provides assurance the project will be properly run and kept up, and meets this subchapter’s rules. After that certification, the Authority needs a yes vote under section 2009aa–1(c) to approve the grant or assistance.
