A Dairy Research Trust Fund can be set up in the U.S. Treasury if the Institute is created under section 4532 and a dairy products research order under section 4533 is in effect that fiscal year. Up to $100,000,000 may be put into the Fund or moved there from Commodity Credit Corporation funds. The Treasury Secretary must invest the Fund in safe government, state, or bank investments. Any earnings must be returned to the Fund and reinvested. Money in the Fund, except the initial $100,000,000, can be used by the board for authorized activities in amounts the Secretary approves.
