§94 Supplying Duplicates of Standards; Examination, Etc., of Naval Stores and Certification Thereof

Summary

The Agriculture Secretary must provide copies of the official naval stores standards to anyone who asks, if practical, as long as they give a satisfactory guarantee the copies will be returned and follow the Secretary’s rules. He must also, when asked and if practical, examine, test, and grade naval stores under those rules. The Secretary will give a written certificate showing the test, grade, or classification. That certificate is treated as valid proof of the results and of the contents of any package sampled, and it can be used in court.
