Title 7 › Chapter 4— NAVAL STORES › § 98
The Secretary of Agriculture must set and collect fees for making standards under section 93 and for inspections, testing, classifications, and other services under section 94. The fees should, as nearly as possible, cover the costs of those services, including administrative and supervisory costs. Collected fees go back into the same government account that paid the costs and can be used without a yearly limit. Fees are charged to processors and warehousers of naval stores, and services can be stopped if they do not pay on time. Money may be appropriated as needed to enforce and run this chapter.
