Current Arbitrators: Confirm by Jan 27, 2025

If you are a current Surface Transportation Board arbitrator, you must confirm you are still available and update your biographical information by January 27, 2025, or you will be removed from the Board's roster. The Board will serve this decision on all current arbitrators and removal happens if you do not confirm.

New Applicants Invited to Apply by Jan 27, 2025

People with rail transportation or economic regulation experience and training in dispute resolution can apply to be added to the Board's roster by filing an application by January 27, 2025. Applications must describe rail experience, dispute-resolution training or arbitration experience (including years), contact information, and fees.

Updated Roster Will Publish Biographical Sketches and Fees

The Board will publish an updated roster on its website that includes a short biographical sketch for each arbitrator (background, expertise, arbitration experience, geographical location), plus contact information and fees. The Board will assess applicants under 49 CFR 1108.6(b) and then post the updated roster.
