New monthly fees for trading-floor links
If you (as a market participant requesting colocation services) want a connection between the Mahwah data center (MDC) and an NYSE trading floor, the Exchange proposes monthly bandwidth-based fees. The proposal lists example prices such as 1 Mb for $200 monthly, 5 Mb for $400 monthly, 25 Mb for $500 monthly, and 100 Mb for $800 monthly; fees vary by bandwidth and are charged monthly.
Charge rules differ by connection type
How you are billed depends on the connection type: if you choose virtual control circuits (VCCs) or a mix of VCC and VRF, you are charged separately for each VCC connection. If you choose a single virtual routing and forwarding service (VRF) that connects to multiple trading floors, you are charged once for that VRF.
Trading-floor links do not allow order entry
A TF Connection between the MDC and a Trading Floor will not provide direct access to the Exchange's execution system and will not be through the Exchange's execution system. You cannot use these TF Connections for direct order entry into the Exchange's execution platform.
