Discussion on Catch/Effort Limits

You can join a virtual U.S. stakeholder meeting about North Pacific albacore management on February 20, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. PST (11 a.m.-2 p.m. HST). If you plan to attend, you must complete registration by February 13, 2025 using the webinar registration link; instructions will be emailed to participants.
Identifying Exceptional Circumstances
The meeting will discuss criteria for identifying exceptional circumstances for the North Pacific albacore Management Strategy Evaluation (MSE), drawing on work by the ISC Albacore Working Group. These discussions are intended to prepare for anticipated 2025 international commission deliberations.
Agenda Includes Logbook Updates
The meeting agenda will include discussion of logbook updates for North Pacific albacore fisheries, and the agenda will be distributed to participants in advance. Requests for sign language interpretation or other auxiliary aids should be made when registering by February 13, 2025.
