Jones Act Vessel Info Collection Renewed
The Maritime Administration plans to renew OMB collection 2133-0545 to keep gathering information about the availability of qualified Jones Act (coastwise) vessels. If you are a coastwise-qualified vessel owner, operator, charterer, broker, or representative, MARAD estimates 65 respondents will provide 260 responses per year (four times annually), at 0.75 hours per response for a total of 195 annual burden hours; the agency says the public burden has been reduced since the last renewal. Stakeholders may submit comments on this renewal by March 10, 2025.
