Forms for CRSC Eligibility and Reconsideration

The Department of Defense proposes using forms DD 2860 and DD 3210 (OMB Control Number 0704-CRSC) to collect information to decide initial eligibility and to consider reconsideration requests for the Combat Related Special Compensation (CRSC) program. The forms are used to record new substantive documentation when a Service Member was previously denied and wants reconsideration.

Estimated Paperwork Time Burden

The proposed collection estimates 22,500 respondents annually, with one response each, an average burden of 15 minutes per response, and total annual burden of 5,625 hours. The DoD invites comments on the accuracy of this burden estimate and on ways to reduce respondent time, with comments due by March 7, 2025.
